Fábrica de Startups partnered with Finnova Foundation and represents Portugal’s country manager at the Startup Europe Awards. Applications are open for all Portuguese Startups in the Tourism sector!

Created in 2016, the Startup Europe Awards award the best European Startups in 18 different categories. This awards, promoted by

European Commission aresupported by the President of the Committe of Regions and several members of the European Parliament as Ambassadors.  The contest starts at regional level, proceeds to national level and reaches its end with a European final, which will take place in Brussels early in 2018.

The Portuguese final event will take place on January 11 in Oeiras, where Fábrica de Startups will receive all startups who applied to judge their pitches. The event will run only in one of the categories: Tourism.

In only five minutes, participants will have to prove their value by pitching their business idea and showing they are the best candidate to represent Portugal in Brussels’ final event.

In Brussels, the winner of each category will receive a ticket for a mentorship program through the Startup Europe Accelerator, which will provide legal and communication support, help to the internationalization process and access to European funds like the SME Instrument.
