Securing the network and information systems in the EU is essential to keep the online economy functioning and ensure its progress. The EU is working to ensure cybersecurity across Europe by increasing the capacity of member states to implement international cooperation on cybersecurity and cybercrime. Its strategy, together with the European Agenda on Security, provides the overall strategic framework for EU cybersecurity and cybercrime initiatives. This is why work must continue to deliver the cybersecurity that all of Europe needs.
