these strategic lines.
Active Participation in Debates and Networking
Juanma Revuelta, CEO of Finnova, alongside a distinguished team of EU Project
Managers, led the foundation’s participation in panel discussions, pitch
sessions, and networking meetings. “Our goal is to connect startups with the
funding opportunities provided by Europe and support projects that drive the
transition toward a more sustainable and innovative economic model,” said
Revuelta.
We also highlight the participation of Eli Kessler, CEO of
Gateway and Vice President of Finnova in the U.S., and Dirk Paelinck, CEO of
Interoffices/Workero and Chairman of the European PropTech Association, in a
panel that generated significant interest in the PropTech investment sector.
Eli Kessler shared key insights into the projects U.S. investors are backing,
while Dirk Paelinck presented the PropTech Startup & Scale-Up Europe
Awards 2024, which attracted over 400 startup candidates focused on innovative
solutions for the real estate sector.
Startup Europe Awards: Recognition of Excellence
Finnova also promoted the Startup Europe Awards (SEUA), an initiative
celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe by providing visibility
and support to startups in key sectors. A heartfelt moment of silence was
observed for the victims of recent climate emergencies, including the DANA in
Valencia. In response to this catastrophe, work is underway on the Emergency
Startup Europe Awards.
A Congress Driving Transformation
With over 300 million euros in capital mobilized and the presence of
international investors, the 2nd International Startup Congress positioned
itself as a key platform to facilitate the funding of innovative projects and
address the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. At Finnova and the Startup
Europe Awards, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting initiatives of this
scale that drive the innovation sector.
