Join StartUp Europe Awards Alliance at 4YFN 2017 Barcelona (27 February – 1 March)

4 Years From Now (4YFN), the Mobile World Capital Barcelona global business platform for the growing community of technology startups, celebrates the fourth edition of its most international event. 4YFN 2017, organised in partnership with GSMA Mobile World Congress, will take place in Barcelona between 27 February and 1 March 2017.

4YFN maintains its distinctive model and structures its programme along 3 central themes: Disrupted by Mobile, The Internet of Things and Digital Media. In only 3 days, 4YFN will hostmore than 100 talks, with over 270 speakers such as Michael Spiegelman, Director of Product Innovation for Growth & Acquisition at Netflix.

With the aim of supporting startups and encouraging networking, 4YFN 2017 will again hold its Innovation Market, an 18,000 m² exhibition area that will host more than 600 exhibitors.

Finnova Foundation, who manages SEUA initiative, will be at 4YFN at the booth F2.6 with the “Valencia Startup Community Corner”, impulsed by VIT Emprende. There, will be possible to be informed about StartUp Europe Awards Alliance for entities that want to join the network that supports European entrepreneurship (local organisers of SEUA17) and also about the open call for Best Public Administration Awards under SEUA17.

Besides, startups from the StartUp Europe Accelerator program that will be present at the fair are Waynabox (who has received the European Commission’s Seal of Excellence and is the winner of StartUp Europe Awards Spain in the Tourism category), Astronical Space Industries (winner of Ateneo StartUp Accelerator 2016) and CarCrash (winner of the Startup 10 award in Valencia Startup Awards), among others.

In 4YFN 2017 Finnova will offer entrepreneurs and startups a window on the available opportunities by the European Union to accelerate their entrepreneurial project:

– Road map and guidance on European funding and internationalization: SME instrument, LIFE program and other calls.

– Registration for entrepreneurs in StartUp Europe Accelerator database to receive information on calls for innovative projects, mobility programs, events, webinars and other resources of interest in Europe.

– Information on requirements to join the Microsoft BizSpark program, of which Finnova is a partner.

– Information on legal aspects – barriers to innovation and the Navas&Cusí Startup Legal Hub program.
