StartUps Europe Awards aims to recognize the best public administrations supporting entrepreneurship and talent in the III Job Fair in the Digital Age

  • The Recognition Awards of Startups Europe Awards will be given to Consorcio Zona Franca de Vigo, Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura, InnDEA Valencia y Gobierno Vasco.
  • The Employment Minister dña Fátima Bañez, who will attend the Job Fair, has shown enormous interest in the Public Administration StartUp Europe Recognition Awards

The best public administration in supporting entrepreneurship and attracting talent, will be awarded during the III Fair Employment in the Digital Era (FEED), one of the most important event of employment in the country, held in Madrid the 15th and 16th November. More than 2,000 participants are expected in this new edition.

More than 50 thematic-oriented presentations will be showed to professionals and entrepreneurs. Around 200 companies will be present and looking for talents during Digital Garden and Startup Hub. HR managers oriented towards digitalization and professionals with or entrepreneurial skills or entrepreneurs who need to be push.

During the event the Best public administration in supporting entrepreneurship to Consorcio Zona Franca de Vigo and the Best public program in attracting talent to Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura and the second awards to InnDEA Valencia and Gobierno Vasco – November 15 at 14:45 in the Digital Garden- will be recognized in order to prize the great work done by local public administrations. The juries representing Finnova, the law firm Navas & Cusi, the director of TVE Embark Juanma Romero and StartUp Europe, will give the awards.

StartUp Europe Awards is an initiative promoted by the European Commission with the support of the Committee of the Regions and several members of the European Parliament, implemented by Finnova in collaboration with Startup Europe. It aims to create an alliance of organizations supporting entrepreneurship and innovation and at the same time to recognize the efforts of European Startups in five levels (local, state, regional, national and European) and in ten categories (environment, tourism, social innovation, creative industries, information and communications technology, health, energy , water, smart cities and Fintech).

Entrepreneurship and talent attracting: StartUp Europe Recognition Awards

Awards Recognition of StartUp Europe Awards winners, will present their projects and programs to boost entrepreneurship and innovative talent in its territory within a panel discussion moderated by Juanma Romero de Emprende TVE. Other programs will be presented too, as the StartUp Europe Accelerator by the Finnova Foundation. The round- table will take place on November 15 at 16: 20h at the Auditorium 2.
