Startup Europe Awards

TESPACK is the winner of Finland in energy category

Country: Finland

Category: Energy

Name: Tespack

Project Aim: Create commercially ready Smart Wear that solve the biggest problems of any wearable or mobile device: battery life and connectivity.

What is the problem?

Energy is the most important part of technology but it is yet to go mobile. On average, more than 50% of people will run out of battery on their mobile devices once a day and around 90% of millennials suffer from a “low battery anxiety” psychological order.  Access to energy is a problem in the city, but in the outdoors and for the rescue forces and military, having battery life can become a question of life and death.

Our Solution?

Tespack is a company specialized in providing a complete mobile energy experience by combining latest technology (ultra-fast charging), solar and connectivity (smart IoT) with premium design. We create commercially ready Smart Wear that solve the biggest problems of any wearable or mobile device: battery life and connectivity.

Tespack is more than products. We are a complete mobile energy solution. Our vision is to be able to power people on the move, whether they have our products or not. We are the first company to combine hardware and software in order to keep everyone charged at all times. Our goal is to make everyone Energy Independent.

 Where are we now?

We entered the market with our first product line, Solar Smartpacks that allow you to keep all your mobile devices charged at all times, even laptops. Now, we have created a completely new ultra-fast charging technology that is 3 times faster than Qualcomm and allows you to charge our power bank full in 6 minutes rather than in 4-5 hours as it would normally take (product to be launched this spring). The same technology has been successfully applied to Atrotus, world’s first Solar Smart IoT Helmet designed for winter sports (to be launched June 2017).

We are currently selling and our customers include Vodafone, Intersport and Scandinavian Outdoors as well as the United Nations and Defence Forces. We have partnered up with well-known companies including TomTom, General Electric and Austrian Space Forum with whom we are developing the first Solar Smartpack for a Mars mission.

We believe that the future of energy is about generation of energy on-the-go, about being mobile, so it felt great to win the Startup EU Awards Finland and get recognised for all the hard work we have done.
