The best Portuguese, Kosovar and Hungarian startups already have their representatives for the StartUp Europe Awards 2017

Last December was a busy month for the StartUp Europe Awards, as several countries celebrated their finals, including Portugal, Kosovo and Hungary.

StartUp Europe Awards is promoted by the European Commission and supported by the President of the Committee of the Regions, several members of the European Parliament as Ambassador and it is implemented by Finnova Foundation in collaboration with StartUp Europe.

Live Electric Tour is going to represent Portugal in the Eurovision for StartUps. The winner of Fábrica de StartUps is a Self Drive experience in 100% electric vehicles for tourists in the City of Lisbon.Our vehicles are the only ones in the world, because they are equipped with Free Wi-fi, GPS Audio Guide, and a Live camera that lets you share the whole experience with family and friends through social media.

Fábrica de Startups the Portuguese country manager´s mission is to help people become successful entrepreneurs. Using their methodology they help them identifying business ideas, creating teams, designing their business model, finding customers and in the launching of the company.

The victor of Innovation Centre Kosovo is Formon, they will represent Kosovo in the Creative category. Formon designs, develops and manufactures easy to use and affordable desktop 3D Printers.

The Innovation Centre Kosovo is a centre whose aim is to connect research and development component of scientific field with the business sector, focusing on creating new job opportunities oriented towards the future, based on knowledge and new technology. ICK was founded to support entrepreneurship, innovation and commercially based business development, with a focus on information and communication technology. The centre supports both start-ups and existing companies with the potential for growth.

Both the gastronomy category and the IoT category will be covered in Hungary. Neumann Non for profit winners are Maxwhere for IoT and Supp.li for Gastronomy. The first one has developed a 3D operation system for those who want to step out of the barriers of the 2D environment while making their work environment more effective. Maxwhere is for radically transforming the daily human experience through richer, more entertaining and socially meaningful shared VR. A core vision behind MaxWhere is to present people with personal, social and public VR spaces mixed with real-word interplay. In second hand Supp.li is a B2B Horeca Marketplace for trusted suppliers and buyers.  Through a one request multiple quotation method Supp.li contacts relevant and approved suppliers that can meet the needs of the buyers.
