The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) as a country manager for Greece with this year’s support of OECON, ACEIN, Youth Entrepreneurship Club and POM organized the National Competition for the selection of the best Greek startups for 2017.Thodoris Alexandrou, Greek Country Manager said: “In general we are very happy that this year’s event attracted more participants that saw what great initiative the SEUA is!”. Alexandrou continue explaining that is great that this year organizations and institutions of the local startup ecosystem helped us with the dissemination issues.

Smart Cities – Cyclefi is an innovative waste-tracking technology and a rewarding mechanism that interconnects recycling performance & discounts for online deals.
ICT – Openichnos is an energy autonomous global tracking and IoT gateway, realizing the Connected Yacht.
Edtech – IFAAacademy invented a software and methodology based on the Science of Risk management through which it can give a scientific risk diagnosis measuring the hazards with specific factor.
Social – patientWho is a social platform connecting health concerned individuals, organizations, projects to boost transparency, access, reuse of data & open up science.
Gastronomy – Sustainable Food Movement in Greece tackles food waste and promotes sustainable development in the Culinary Arts Industry in Greece.
Green – Billagi is an eco-fashion, e-commerce focused startup which will provide truly eco-friendly womenswear, created using the best eco-fabrics.
