The European Commission is looking for more cost-effective forms of economy that are more climate-friendly and consume less energy. Its goal for 2050 is to reduce these emissions by 80% gradually. To achieve this goal, clean technologies play a very important role, as well as continuing to move towards an EU-wide low-carbon society.

TARGET:
To reward new companies that develop clean technologies and energy with low or zero carbon emissions, which stimulates growth and employment and helps Europe reduce its use of non-key resources such as energy, raw materials, land and water.
